Overlooking an old lake, of which the reed bed provides a home to specific species: little bitterns, Eurasian reed warblers in the summer. In winter, ducks and coots share the reed bed. If you're lucky, you may see Eurasian Bitterns or deer cross the lake.

The observatory gives onto a lake providing an ideal home for many ducks, waders or herons.

The observatory is situated on a private lake which has one of the last reed-bed habitats in Brenne. It is one of the richest lakes in terms of nature, particularly due to a large heron colony. Many species of ducks, herons, egrets, the Savi's Warbler, etc.

17ha lake. Observation of black-necked grebes, black-headed gulls, purple herons or little bitterns which share the lake in summer.

The observatory is located on a private property managed by the Hunters' Federation of the Indre Department.

58ha lake, covered in water lilies and surrounded by reeds. All year round, you can observe many species of birds.

Two observatories accessible to the public and from which you can observe many species of birds all year round... from the common teal to the little ringed plover without forgetting the whiskered tern or the osprey.

Whiskered terns.....Western Marsh Harrier and many other species can be observed all year round.

The final acquisition of the Reserve is opening to the public. A trail of over one kilometre crosses typical landscapes and ends at an observatory. Favourable light during the day for wildlife-watching. Open from 1/04 to 30/09.

The observatory is located on the Bénisme pond in the Terres et Étangs de Brenne Massé-Foucault Regional Nature Reserve.

The observatory opens onto a pond with a wealth of natural features.
