Description
This trail takes you along the right and left banks of the Creuse valley, starting out from Le Blanc viaduct between two bridges which, at a height of 38 metres, commands beautiful views over the town and bridge of Ruffec leading to the Creuse for a picnic break. Running alongside an old railway, now a greenway, this well shaded trail is safe and easy to follow for half of its course. If you want to avoid too much hard pedalling - especially upon leaving the river behind to go up the hill - we recommend you follow it in the direction suggested.
