Description
This is "the" family outing to enjoy right at the heart of La Brenne. It's easy course is perfect for all cyclists keen on exploring La Brenne countryside without having to go too far. It not only runs alongside two gorgeous ponds - Bellebouche and Les Vigneaux - but also takes an altogether lovely scenic route in itself, ambling along quiet little roads and lanes through the varied landscapes typical of La Brenne, a patchwork of meadows, moorland and ponds of course. Your starting point at Bellebouche pond is a joy in itself! Be careful in the winter though, when the paths can get muddy and heavier-going, particularly upon leaving Bellebouche. These clay and sandstone soils are also a characteristic of the land around La Brenne!
