Description
This day trip, which can also be done by horse-drawn carriage via alternative routes, highlights the intimate nature of the Anglin and Benaize valleys, the latter flowing into the former. At the Moulin des Roches, the banks of the Anglin inspire calm and serenity, and its karst caves are a source of fascination. Below Céré, the Benaize flows peacefully under dense vegetation, while the path climbs a steep hillside to reach the hamlet of Fontigon. Further on, the Benaize reappears in the village of Saint-Hilaire.
